"Somebody Wrote Love"George's latest CD is in stores now. For those of us in the US, it can be purchased through the store on George's Website. The album contains the hit singles, "Somebody Wrote Love," "Drinkin' Thinkin'" and "I Want You to Live." As always it has some terrific songs and is a must have for George Canyon fans. It is also available at mymusic.com. 
At the 2005 CCMA's George Canyon won the prestigious, fan-voted Cheez Whiz Fans’ Choice Award, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year (for his song “My Name”),and SOCAN Song of the Year for “My Name,” which is a co-write with Gordie Sampson. The award show was held on Monday, September 12th at Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, AB. More...... George was named best new male country artist by the Music Box Awards in Paris, France. More..... 
George Canyon Appears in Two Episodes of Trailer Park Boys. On Sunday June 3rd George appeared in the first of two episodes of Trailer Park Boys airing on Showcase in Canada at 9pm ET/PT. The second episode airs June 10th in the same timeslot. George and folk/roots artist and good friend Dave Gunning play forest rangers on the episodes. George has many concert dates coming up.
